A financial wellness leader and premier active global investment manager with more than $1 trillion of assets under management as of September 30, 2019, with operations in the United States, Asia, Europe, and Latin America. We offer a wide array of financial products and services, including life insurance, annuities, retirement-related products and services, mutual funds and investment management. We offer these products and services to individual and institutional customers through proprietary and third-party distribution networks. Prudential Financial, Inc.'s Common Stock began trading on December 13, 2001 on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol "PRU." Prudential's IPO and demutualization closed on December 18, 2001 at which point Prudential converted from a mutual insurance company to a stock company.
