We provide customers with a variety of financial products and services, including life insurance, annuities, retirement-related services, mutual funds and investment management. Prudential Financial, Inc.'s Common Stock began trading on December 13, 2001 on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol "PRU." Prudential's IPO and demutualization closed on December 18, 2001 at which point Prudential converted from a mutual insurance company to a stock company.
